Both artists perform famous and popular repertoire – among other things the duet „Roses from Tyrol“ from Zeller’s „The Birdseller“ or the duet „Gesetzt den Fall“ from Millöcker’s „The Beggar Student“. An orchestral contrast to the operetta parts of the programme is set by the perfomance of three Slavonic Dances by Antonin Dvorak. Regardless of „serious“ or light music, these dances perfectly harmonize with pieces like the tremendous „Intermezzo“ from Johann Strauߑ operetta „1001 Nacht“. The encore of the concert recording is included as well: it is the polka „Thunder and Lightning“ by Johann Strauß.
